Is TLauncher the best Minecraft launcher (for PC)?

The best launcher is the launcher that launches what you want to play at that moment.

I keep ATLauncher around because I play Pixelmon, Skyfactory, CrundeeCraft/Trollcraft, Terrafirmacraft, and occasionally Ye Olde Times.

I keep the Technic Launcher around because I play Tekkit, CrazyCraft, and some of the LuckyBlock packs.

The basic Mojang launcher is waaaay better than it used to be, and I use it for launching my own modpacks in development, Forge instances, saved worlds from prior versions, etc.

TLauncher is… OK. I mean, it’s got Forge and Optifine bundled, but I’ve installed that so many times that it’s nearly quicker for me to do manually. Not a fan of their skin system, but your mileage may vary. Their “build your own modpack” system is… well, it is easy, but there’s a ton of stuff that it doesn’t do for you - item reconciliation, for starters. If you want to click and go, it’s not bad; if you want a modpack to actually work… that’s not the droid you’re looking for.
